New research from Personio has highlighted that 38% of employees are looking to switch roles in the next six to 12 months.
This figure rises to 55% for 18-34 year olds.
Personio surveyed 500 HR decision makers and more than 2,000 workers across the UK and Ireland.
- Only 26% of businesses said talent retention was a priority in the next year
- 45% of employers are worried staff will leave when the economy picks up
Jen Gaster, Managing Director and Founder of HR recruitment consultancy HR Heads, said, “Our experience is that people are actively looking, the market has picked up and organisations aren’t doing enough to retain the best talent.
“If you lose that best talent, it is an incredibly competitive market and recruitment is tough.”
