HR Business Partner
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation operating in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on both operational and strategic HR, supporting leaders and colleagues to deliver an ambitious People Agenda.
Reporting to the People Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the business by building strong relationships with leaders, driving engagement, and ensuring the organisation has the skills and capabilities to remain market-leading.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insight and guidance on people-related matters.
- Deliver operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and reward.
- Lead and support People projects across areas such as organisational effectiveness, talent planning, and change initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in organisational structures and processes to enhance performance and engagement.
- Manage compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews and benchmarking.
- Provide meaningful data insights to inform commercial decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Broad, generalist HR experience, including business partnering and expertise in employee relations, reward and recognition, and performance management.
- Experience of TUPE and managing organisational change.
- Proven ability to deliver People projects across multiple disciplines (e.g., performance management, change, reward, development).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix organisational structure within the services sector.
- Educated to degree level or qualified by experience.
- CIPD qualified or working towards.
- Ability to prioritise effectively while managing competing and changing deliverables.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and adapting quickly to change.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- A confident communicator, capable of holding challenging conversations when needed.
- Insightful, objective, and able to demonstrate sound judgment.
- Positive approach with a strong team ethic and willingness to be hands-on.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills.
