We’re recruiting for a company who invest in private businesses and sustainable development projects, focusing on community-driven initiatives. They are looking for an HR Manager to join their team who can not only complete the day-to-day HR responsibilities but will also support and lead on initiatives to give back to the community.
This is a unique role, driving a positive corporate culture and environment for a small professional team, coordinating an Employment and Skills programme to support a large, Hampshire-based, sustainable development project and leading the further development of an employment support programme across the wider Hampshire community, helping those who need it most, including ex-offenders, veterans, the long-term unemployed, and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage talent attraction, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate training and development programs, fostering continuous learning across the organization.
- Maintain employee handbooks, processes, and policies in line with current legislation.
- Drive corporate culture and values, ensuring they are embedded in all aspects of the business.
- Lead the employment and skills development programme, working with a variety of external partners.
- Champion employment support initiatives in Hampshire, making a real difference to local communities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Significant experience in HR, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee-related legislation and best practices.
- Demonstrable experience and passion for learning and development.
- A proactive, self-starter with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Empathy, integrity, and strong communication skills to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- A team player with a commitment to supporting and developing others.
Why Apply?
This is more than just an HR role; it’s an opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting, positive impact on the community. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team that values collaboration, innovation, and social responsibility. If you’re looking for a part-time role that combines your HR expertise with your passion for making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
