I’m working with a well-known Financial Services organisation who are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to their clients. They are looking for a proactive and dynamic People Partner to join their team and support a key division.
Role Overview: As a People Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving the people agenda for approximately 1,400 employees. You will work closely with the People Director and two Strategic People Partners to support and enhance the people function. This is role that is client-facing, getting out and visiting people within the business as well as proactively analysing People Data to drive the business forward through strategic initiatives. This person will need to be comfortable working autonomously, managing your own time and workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various projects, dealing with complex and difficult stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Proactively analyze metrics such as engagement scores, absence, hire, and attrition rates to identify trends and drive strategic improvements.
- Provide coaching and challenge senior managers to address problem areas and improve performance.
- Consult with line management on people-related issues, offering guidance and solutions to alleviate operational pressures.
- Work with the Employee Relations team to manage stakeholder expectations and drive cases to resolution.
- Identify trends requiring action and create solutions as part of a continuous improvement culture.
- Actively monitor and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and fit for purpose.
- Drive a culture of positive performance management, providing expert advice and coaching to managers.
- Work with line management and People functions to create an environment of continuous improvement and upskill People Leaders.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience of working in a large-matrix organisation
- Broad understanding of all HR-related subjects, with experience in employment law and policy interpretation.
- Strong ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills, knowing when how to challenge, influence and coach People Leaders, building line management capability.
- Strong understanding of business and marketplace dynamics to advance business goals.
- Ability to remain calm and persuasive in controversial or confrontational situations.
