People Change Manager (6 Months FTC)

Join a specialist HR team renowned for delivering exemplary HR services across diverse global divisions and departments. We are seeking an experienced People Change Manager to spearhead pivotal change projects, ensuring seamless integration and success within stipulated timelines and budgets.
Role Overview:
As a seasoned People Change Manager, you will report directly to the Interim Director of People Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage change initiatives that encompass strategy development, preparation, and support. You will ensure the workforce is well-equipped to adopt new processes and technologies, facilitating smooth transitions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Drive and lead organisational change projects, from end-to-end consultation to implementation. Develop strategies that align with business objectives and ensure successful project completion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, senior leaders, and the wider People team on all HR, ER, and organisational change programmes, particularly M&A and TUPE.
  • Expert Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing support and coaching to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior executives. Facilitate the transition of roles and responsibilities effectively.
  • Methodology Application: Utilise structured methodologies and tools to lead change management activities, including creating strategies to support project adoption.
  • Communication: Partner with internal communications teams to design, develop, and manage key communication plans. Ensure clear and effective messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Impact Assessment: Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of change impacts.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics to navigate challenges efficiently.
  • Organisational Design: Support organisational design efforts, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring user readiness for new processes and structures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Consult and coach project teams.
  • Support and engage senior leaders.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists to integrate change management activities.
  • Track and report on project progress and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to foster a collaborative environment.


  • MCIPD / Chartered CIPD / Level 7 qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in TUPE.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • International experience or the ability to leverage colleagues in other regions.
