As part of the Senior Leadership team, the Director of People will report to the newly appointed CEO and work closely with her and the Board to drive the delivery of the people strategy across the UK, Asia and US.
Ideally you will have experience working in a family run/owned business and be able to demonstrate the ability to work at Board/Committee level.
The ideal Director of People will:
Be an experienced HR Generalist and will oversee the delivery of all people activities – including management development, resourcing, D&I, talent management, organisational development, employee relations, change management and reward.
There will be a focus on developing and implementing strategies to align, evolve and embed the values, desired culture, employee experience and engagement required to deliver the purpose and strategy. International experience would be beneficial as would an understanding of the process of becoming a sustainably certified company.
Skills required for the Director of People role include:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable leadership and influencing skills; exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to see the ‘big picture’ of how people and culture fit into the company’s overall business strategy and goals ·
