We are seeking a skilled HR Data Analyst to join our client’s team, responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to HR and Talent Acquisition functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for utilising data-driven insights to optimise HR and Talent strategies. This role will play a crucial part in shaping organisational decisions and enhancing overall effectiveness in HR operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Management:
    • Collect, organise, and maintain HR and Talent Acquisition data from various sources including HRIS, recruitment systems, performance management tools, surveys, and other relevant platforms.
    • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through regular audits and validations.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct thorough analysis of HR metrics, trends, and patterns to identify key insights and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for HR leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to support HR and Talent Acquisition strategies.
  3. Talent Acquisition Analysis:
    • Evaluate recruitment processes, candidate pipelines, and hiring effectiveness metrics to optimize talent acquisition strategies.
    • Analyse candidate demographics, sourcing channels, and recruitment funnel metrics to enhance diversity and inclusion efforts.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in the recruitment lifecycle.
  4. HR Operations Optimisation:
    • Analyse HR operational processes such as onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee relations to identify areas for optimisation and automation.
    • Monitor key HR metrics related to employee engagement, retention, turnover, and satisfaction to support workforce planning initiatives.
    • Collaborate with HR business partners to translate data insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  5. Data Governance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data governance policies in all HR data activities.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting HR data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR data analysis, preferably in a corporate or HR consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and other HR technology platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR and Talent Acquisition processes, best practices, and metrics.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
