Newly created HR Manager for leading sports charity Get Golfing. Overseeing all aspects of HR.

Are you passionate about sports and making a difference in communities? Get Golfing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team. As a leading sports charity organisation dedicated to supporting struggling English golf facilities and advocating for the benefits of golf, they are looking for someone who shares their commitment to providing accessible golfing opportunities for all.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and Implement HR Policies: Craft and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process from job postings to interviewing and hiring, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance evaluation process, offering guidance and support to managers and supervisors to foster employee development and success.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support professional growth.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Manage employee benefits and compensation programs to ensure competitive packages that attract and retain talent.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR database to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions.


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Recruitment: Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; professional HR certification is a plus.


  • Salary: £38-£40,000 per year.
