Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Lead the research, development, and writing of HR policies, ensuring they reflect best practices and legal compliance. Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and address policy needs.
- Documentation: Maintain an up-to-date and accessible policy handbook. Regularly review and update policies to align with legal changes and company practices.
- Communication: Effectively communicate new and updated policies to all employees, providing training and guidance to ensure clear understanding and implementation.
- Compliance: Monitor and review policies to ensure they meet legal standards, addressing queries and providing clarity on policy interpretation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure policies are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with company values.
- Other Responsibilities: Promote employee inclusion and wellbeing, prioritise health and safety, and participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in HR policy writing or a related role, with a strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
- Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Strong research and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
- Attributes: Organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative and effective in working with cross-functional teams. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all your work.
