Training and Development consultant, delivering, training, induction and onboarding in growing financial services company as part of a team of 4.

I am working with a growing Professional Services company who are looking to add to its L&D team due to both organic growth and growth through acquisition. As an integral part of our organisation, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the development journey of our staff and contribute to our continued success.

Job Title: Learning & Development Consultant
Location:
 London, Hampshire (2 days a week, flexible)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 with excellent benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive process and system training to staff, both individually and in groups, utilising both face-to-face and remote delivery methods.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps and develop tailored training solutions.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, ensuring their accuracy and relevance within our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide assessments of individual capabilities post-training.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assess, prioritise, and deliver learning and development initiatives.
  • Adapt to evolving training requirements resulting from organizational changes or strategic shifts.
  • Actively engage in cross-functional projects within the business as needed.
  • Embody and promote our company culture consistently.

Skills and Experience:

  • Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for developing individuals and fostering their growth.
  • Previous experience in training and development.
  • Proficiency in Curo is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly within private client advice, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with internal CRM systems.
  • Adaptability to handle diverse tasks and changing business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for tasks and projects, with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate when necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to different office locations as required, with a preference for candidates with access to their own transportation.
