My client is a global giant and is going through a period of change and transformation. They are looking to hire a Learning Experience & Design Leader and take the reins of revolutionising employee development in their dynamic restaurant environment!

As a pivotal figure within the UK and Ireland Restaurant Support Centre, you’ll spearhead the creation, implementation, and execution of cutting-edge learning strategies through our Learning Experience and Design (LED) team. Your mission? To ensure that every member of our restaurant and field operations teams receives top-notch training through a blend of innovative methods, including Job aids, Virtual, Workshops, eLearning, Microlearning, and In-restaurant training.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Craft and implement the LED strategy, focusing on enhancing the employee experience within our restaurant operations.
  • Lead and mentor a talented team of 2 individuals, nurturing their growth and development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the effectiveness of ad hoc restaurant training initiatives.
  • Develop and refine diverse learning materials, maintaining a professional tone suited to adult learners.
  • Partner with global teams to manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure seamless course delivery.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using advanced data analytics tools, ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • A creative and results-oriented team player with strong organisational and analytical abilities.
  • A genuine passion for learning and development, coupled with the ability to align priorities with organisational goals.
  • Prior experience in leading training strategies of a similar scale and scope.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, video creation software, and LMS Platforms.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced, guest-cantered retail environments.
