People Administrator

We are looking to HR Administrator for a rapidly expanding retail business.

As HR Administrator you will be responsible for all people administration across the business and being a key point of contact for any people-related tasks and questions. Your duties will range from onboarding to managing the HR inbox and will see you playing an important part in providing a first-class people function for the business.

As HR Administrator your key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing an excellent onboarding service such as preparing and overseeing paperwork related to new starters, visa checks and referencing.
  • Understanding and working with the people system, dealing with any requests or queries as they arise
  • Working with payroll to ensure monthly payroll paperwork is collated accurately
  • Keeping all people data, records and reporting up to date
  • Assisting with people projects, providing support when needed
  • Managing the HR inbox, being a point of contact for day-to-day HR matters and redirecting queries to other departments when necessary

Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR
  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Able to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment
  • Incredibly organised
  • Pragmatic
  • Can work both autonomously and part of a team
  • Fantastic communication skills
