A 6 months fixed term contract role is required to backfill a secondment within the department. Bringing knowledge and expertise around policy development, amendment and communication is the crux to this role, ensuring all changes are timely and within legal boundaries. The policy guidance may be given in person or online and includes statutory changes. Liaising with unions is key to implementing any changes so experience of working in a unionised environment is needed.
The role will also require the successful candidate to support with pay awards, changes to T&C’s, evaluating jobs, assessing pension provisions, adhering to deadlines on the pay awards, managing TUPE transfers and providing gap analysis.
