Working closely with business leaders to build people capability and enhance the people experience. Supporting the organisation in evolving the approach to people, operating on both a strategic and operational level. Helping to drive significant change in partnership with leaders across key business areas, a commercial contributor to a leadership team, with a strong understanding of how to utilise the people plan and levers to deliver great business outcomes.

  What we’re looking for: Technical Competency

  • CIPD qualification is essential for this role
  • Able to work across a variety of business areas and leaders, enabling success in the function through its people
  • Scope and lead senior organisational design projects
  • Manage complex ER cases providing measured advice and support
  • Support and actively participate in the development and delivery of the People Plan that is focused on attracting and retaining great talent and being fit for the future in an ever-evolving environment
  • An excellent understanding of the organisation, strategy and customers in order to understand the people challenges faced across the business
  • Capable of being both strategic and operational, able to create and deliver people solutions and structure from scratch where needed
  • Commercially savvy, aligning people to solutions to the strategic business plan, whilst being able to deliver tactical people initiatives to drive performance
  • Innate ability to prioritise, able to manage conflicting priorities, able to step out of the detail and plan for the future
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder management skills to build excellent relationships, and influence through these relationships, and challenge where needed
  • Build strong working partnerships with other People team members to co-ordinate aligned and innovative solutions consistently, based on commercial and strategic insight
  • Work collaboratively with the CoE’s to deliver the talent management strategy through org design, headcount management, performance management, leadership development, talent mapping and succession planning
  • Have experience and operational understanding of org design and development
  • Be a key part of delivering our reward strategy, understanding principles of job levelling and evaluation is important and a key part of this role (using Kornferry methodology)
  • Owning the delivery of the engagement strategy across the functional areas
  • Drive our culture and values with stakeholders and make these a part of everything you do
  • Support and coach leaders on best people practice, manage complex ER cases, providing sound advice around employment legislation, and able to interpret it to meet the
  • Experience in driving significant business and HR transformation agendas
  • Prefers to find the simple and most effective solution and does not over complicate
