Jen Gaster

Founder

Jennifer Gaster is the Founder of HR Heads Ltd, a boutique consultancy specialising in the recruitment of senior HR professionals. With over 20 years of experience, Jen has a strong educational background with degrees from the University of Cambridge (M.Phil Criminology) and Birmingham City University (BA Hons Business). She is highly skilled in HR recruitment, executive search, and industry expertise. Since its foundation, HR Heads achieved significant year-on-year growth, leading to the expansion of Heads Resourcing Group in 2012 to incorporate sister brands Procurement Heads and Executive Heads.  Jen specialises in recruiting interim and fractional HR talent roles including, Chief People Officer, HR Director, Head of HR, Reward, Wellbeing, OD, L&D, Change & Transformation, Business Partner and HR Manager.  Aside from continuing to grow the business, Jen is a qualified Coach, she is involved actively in guest speaking, thought leadership and the wider development of the recruitment industry.

Rosie Jenkins

Director | Consumer

Rosie Jenkins leads the Consumer Practice at HR Heads, bringing over 25 years’ experience across permanent, contract and executive search. After completing a Business degree at Portsmouth University, she spent a pivotal year within Shell UK’s HR function, reporting directly to the HR Director and gaining early exposure to the strategic influence of high‑performing HR teams.

Her career has since spanned internal and external talent roles, including leading the talent acquisition function at Britvic Soft drinks. For the past decade, Rosie has specialised exclusively in HR recruitment, partnering with Consumer‑sector organisations to appoint senior HR leaders across roles such as HR Directors, Heads of HR, HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Learning and Development, Reward, Organisational Design, Employee Relations and D&I.

At HR Heads, Rosie is known for her measured, insight‑led approach to search. She brings a clear understanding of market dynamics, organisational nuance and hiring risk – supporting clients to make decisions that enhance capability, culture and long‑term performance. Her work is grounded in discretion, depth, and a commitment to building enduring partnerships with both clients and candidates.

A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Rosie ensures equitable hiring practices and inclusive shortlisting are embedded in every assignment she leads.

Outside of work, Rosie can usually be found pitch‑side cheering her sons on at football or hockey, or making the most of any spare time on the tennis court or out on the slopes.

Jake Lewis

Senior Manager

Jake Lewis heads up the Industrial Practice at HR Heads, bringing over 14 years of multi-sector experience across permanent recruitment, executive search, and in-house talent acquisition.

Jake’s focus within the industrial space spans a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, energy & utilities, defence, engineering and transportation & logistics. He is known for identifying and placing high-impact HR professionals across roles such as HR Directors, Heads of HR, HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Learning specialists, Compensation & Benefits experts, Organisational Design leads, Culture & Engagement advocates, Employee Relations professionals, and D & I specialists.

Jake’s approach is deeply values-led, grounded in strategic thinking and a people-first mindset. He believes in building long-term partnerships over short-term wins and is committed to developing genuine relationships based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect. His credibility stems not just from his experience, but from his consistent focus on delivering thoughtful, sustainable talent solutions that align with both business goals and human potential.

Outside of work, Jake enjoys squash, mountain biking, and road cycling, and is an enthusiastic reader always exploring new ideas and perspectives.

Aisha Barnes

Senior Consultant | Financial & Professional Services

Aisha Barnes is a Senior Consultant at HR Heads, specialising in recruitment for the Financial & Professional Services sectors. With over 7 years of experience recruiting in various industries, she is renowned for her ability to connect high-calibre professionals with leading organisations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with International Relations as well as a Masters Degree in Education, which give her unique insight into Business Operations & Learning & Development.

At HR Heads, Aisha manages the recruitment process for clients in the Fintech, Legal, Accounting, Banking & Wealth Management areas, using her relationship building and candidate network to match the right candidates for each position. She specialises in the permanent recruitment of HR roles including Head of HR, Senior HR Business Partners, People Partner, HR Manager, HR Advisor and specialist roles within Change & Transformation, Reward, Talent, OD and Wellbeing.

Aisha is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, promoting equitable hiring practices and supporting initiatives for inclusive workplaces. Outside of work, Aisha enjoys volunteering and currently mentors children and young people, as well as coaches women with relationship difficulties.

Jenna White

Principal Consultant, Professional & Financial Services

Jenna leads the Professional & Financial Services Practice at HR Heads, specialising in the recruitment of permanent and fixed‑term HR roles. With three years’ experience gained in STEM‑driven environments, she brings a solid understanding of the HR lifecycle, having partnered on talent acquisition, HR generalist mandates, employee relations and organisational development assignments.

Her approach is deliberately people‑first. Jenna is known for building thoughtful, trusted relationships and for operating with integrity at the centre of every interaction. She takes the time to understand the cultural and organisational nuances that influence hiring decisions, ensuring each appointment supports longer‑term team effectiveness rather than simply filling a vacancy.

Based across our Hampshire and London offices, Jenna partners closely with HR leaders who value a grounded, relationship‑led recruiter – someone who brings clarity, calm and genuine care to complex hiring challenges.
