Systemic Team Coaching

The HR Heads Breakfast Forums are designed with you in mind, encouraging participation through group discussion and activity, as well as providing an opportunity for HR professionals to openly learn about current trends and best practice across specific HR topics.

On Thursday 14th March HR Heads hosted a Breakfast Forum in Southampton with guest speaker Belinda Smith, Coach at Grace Coaching.

Belinda presented attendees with an interactive forum discussing Systemic Team Coaching; which entailed a full role play session. The role play was based on a HR team of 4; Head of HR, Payroll, L&D and HR Manager, as well as 4 key stakeholders; Finance Director, Production Manager, Senior Manager and Sales Director. We were very impressed with our amateur actors, who shed genuine and valuable insight into their organisations, ways of working and experienced opinions. Belinda was then able to facilitate Systemic Team Coaching to the entire ‘team’ in their different roles – which, according to the feedback we received, was a hugely successful way of helping attendees quickly understand the process, and recognise the value, of Systemic Team Coaching.

Key Takeaways for event attendees:

  • 5 disciplines team coaching model (reference)
  • A fresh outlook on the benefits of listening and understanding what your employees/co-workers are telling you, without a business agenda, to gain much more insight than you were previously.
  • An updated ability to take stock of where you are as a team and truly discover your personal motivation and commitment to working productively together.

As always, the HR Heads Breakfast Forum was hugely successful, and widely enjoyed. The interactive session encouraged much involvement from all attendees which has already proven highly beneficial.
