Rosie Jenkins was approached by Paul Dunford, People Director at Zizzi Restaurants, with whom she had previously worked when he was a candidate. Paul sought Rosie’s expertise to recruit a Regional People Partner for the South – a pivotal role covering 75 restaurants from south of the M25 to Cornwall.
The brief was clear but challenging: identify a high-potential HR professional with strong multi-site experience in fast-paced retail, and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally. At the time, the market for such talent was highly competitive.
Rosie conducted an extensive search, interviewing over 90 candidates. The first offer was declined due to a counter-offer, but Rosie’s persistence paid off. She ultimately secured the ideal candidate who matched the brief perfectly in both capability and ambition.
Impressed by the calibre of candidates and Rosie’s tenacity, Paul entrusted her with two further recruitment assignments, both of which she successfully filled.
