Role: Assistant HR Advisor
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000
Location: Southampton (hybrid)

We are working with a fast-growing international company that are looking for an Assistant HR Advisor, due to expansion, to join their busy HR department. ​​If you’re an HR Administrator or Coordinator, looking for the next step in your career and would love the opportunity to get involved in low-level ER cases and L&D responsibilities, this role could be for you!

​Key Responsibilities:​

  • Provide support with ER cases various HR projects.
  • Advise employees and managers on Company policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and Employment law.​
  • Respond to general employee enquiries, employee onboarding, change of status, and leave processes.​
  • Work closely with Payroll in Finance ensure accurate information and documentation is provided for the payroll report​
  • o Liase healthcare and pension providers, to manager benefits and legal compliance.
  • HR Compliance duties such as Right to Work checks, proof of Address and Identification.​
  • o Compile regular reports and presentations related to HR metrics, such as absence and turnover rates.

Learning and Development:

  • Maintain & Update training records for new and existing staff​
  • Assist in gathering feedback and data from any learning carried out across the business and then support the L&D Specialist in future training planning, based on these metrics
  • Assist in the creation of eLearning to aid learning in different departments across the group
  • Support in encouraging eLearning to be completed and a mindset of career development Group-wide

The Ideal Candidate:​

  • Qualified CIPD, ideally to Level 3working towards Level 5
  • Good attention to detail. and organisation skills, and time management
  • Excellent communication skills. Personable and strong relationship builder.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment hit the ground running.​
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems.​
  •  Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
