I’m working with a fantastic company who operate in over 29 countries with exceptional Services that support companies in the Industrial, Hospitality and Public Service sectors. They are one of the largest and leading brands within their sector and looking for an HR & Talent Manager to support their growth and People Managers to have an effective recruitment process.
  
This role reports to the HR Business Partner based in Brixton.

As HR & Talent Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their business needs and support them in designing job descriptions, drafting adverts, and advising on suitable attraction methods.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on the most effective selection methods.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with hiring managers, acting as a coach on effective interviewing, assessment, and selection methods.
  • Work with advertising partners to identify the best and most cost-effective mediums for placing adverts, utilizing social media platforms to attract candidates and foster relationships.
  • Manage all recruitment administration activities, including screening, scheduling interviews, managing offers, and facilitating the onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Design and deliver recruitment training and actively participate in induction events, engagement activities, job fairs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Respond to service-related queries, providing comprehensive advice and guidance, and escalating matters to the HR Business Partner when necessary.
  • Oversee the engagement of agency workers and liaise with managed service providers on day-to-day issues raised by candidates, recruiting managers, and third-party agencies.
  • Participate in interviews, providing guidance and support to managers on drafting legally compliant interview questions.
  • Effectively manage the ATS system and provide training to managers on its usage.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team, reporting on key recruitment metrics, and contributing to projects as required.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in creatively sourcing quality candidates directly, with the confidence to approach passive candidates.
  • Highly organized and disciplined in managing a varied workload and the end-to-end resourcing process.
  • Experience in creating suitable attraction and selection plans, setting clear expectations with hiring managers.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to articulate and demonstrate the value add of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing a positive experience for both candidates and the hiring community.

Experience Required:

  • Level 3 CIPD or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as a talent acquisition specialist or similar role.
  • Experience utilizing social recruiting tools, an ATS or CRM, MS Office, and Teams.
  • Ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and profiles.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists, and interview candidates.
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
