Integration Communication Lead (FTC)
Location: London or South Coast (hybrid)
Salary: £48,000 – £72,000
Contract: Fixed-term contract (12-18 months)

The opportunity This is a pivotal role within a large, customer-facing financial services business undergoing significant transformation.
The organisation operates at scale across the UK, employing several thousand people and delivering products through multiple distribution channels including partnerships, brokers and direct-to-consumer. Following a series of acquisitions and long-term strategic partnerships, the business is bringing together multiple brands, systems and cultures into a single, more unified organisation.
The integration is complex – spanning technology, people, operations and ways of working – and has created a need for a dedicated communications lead who can bring clarity, alignment and pace to how change is understood and adopted.

This is a fixed-term role with genuine business impact, sitting at the centre of a high-profile integration programme.

As Integration Communications Lead, you will shape and deliver the internal communications strategy that supports the successful integration of multiple businesses.

You’ll work across programme teams, HR and senior leadership to ensure colleagues understand what is changing, why it matters and what it means for them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading communications across a large-scale integration and transformation programme
  • Designing and delivering a clear, structured communication framework across multiple workstreams
  • Developing communications that support organisational design, people integration and change activity
  • Translating complex programme detail into simple, engaging narratives for different audiences
  • Supporting leadership visibility through briefings, content, and strategic messaging
  • Creating and managing key communication channels (intranet hubs, newsletters, leadership updates, live events)
  • Partnering closely with HR and transformation teams on consultation and people-related communications
  • Driving engagement and alignment as the organisation moves towards a more unified culture and operating model

What we’re looking for This role will suit someone who is comfortable operating in pace, ambiguity and complexity, and who can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Proven experience leading internal communications within a major transformation, integration or M&A environment
  • Strong judgement and the ability to anticipate risks, shape messaging and influence outcomes
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and advising on communication strategy
  • The ability to bring structure and clarity to large, multi-layered programmes
  • Strong content skills across multiple formats – from leadership messaging to digital and live channels
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, with the ability to get up to speed quickly in an interim capacity
  • Confidence navigating different organisational cultures and ways of working

Why this role matters This is not a “broadcast” communications role. It sits at the heart of business transformation, where the quality of communication directly impacts:

  • Change adoption
  • Cultural integration
  • Employee engagement
  • Overall programme success

It’s an opportunity to play a defining role in shaping how a newly combined organisation aligns around a shared future.
