Reporting into senior leadership, this role will act as a trusted strategic advisor to Executive and senior management teams, shaping and delivering a people strategy that directly supports business objectives and drives organisational performance.

This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence at the most senior levels while leading transformational initiatives across organisational design, leadership development, talent management, workforce capability and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Executive and senior leadership teams to translate business strategy into commercially focused people plans.
  • Lead the development and delivery of strategic workforce, talent and succession initiatives.
  • Shape and deliver organisational design and organisation development programmes to improve effectiveness and performance.
  • Identify capability, leadership and talent gaps, implementing solutions to build organisational strength and future readiness.
  • Drive cultural change initiatives that support business transformation and long-term success.
  • Utilise workforce analytics, commercial data and business insights to inform decision-making and measure impact.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to ensure a coordinated and effective people strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and challenge on complex people matters, organisational change and employee relations.
  • Build strong relationships with employee representative groups and key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Champion leadership capability, employee engagement and high-performance cultures across the business.

You will be an accomplished senior HR leader with a proven track record of influencing and partnering with executive-level stakeholders in large, matrix organisations.

  • Significant experience coaching, influencing and constructively challenging senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Strong strategic HR expertise, with experience aligning people strategies to business priorities.
  • Demonstrable success leading organisation design, organisational development and business transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of talent management, leadership development, culture and workforce planning.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect people initiatives to business outcomes.
  • Experience using data and insight to inform strategic decisions and measure organisational impact.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and competing priorities.
  • Experience working with employee representative groups and managing complex change agendas.
  • Resilience, sound judgement and credibility in highly complex environments.
